Thanksgiving at Samaritan Inn

Updated: Feb 2, 2021

Thanksgiving is a day to spend time with the ones you love! One of the joys of working in ministry is getting to love on families who live with us for sometimes up to a year! This year at Samaritan Inn our families were able to enjoy an amazing meal prepared by the sweet members of Village Park. For most of our families here it can be a tough time during the holiday season, especially being away from the ones they love. One of the things we try to give our families here at Samaritan Inn is to love them like our own so we can create a bond that is family oriented. We want each of our families to know that we will do whatever it takes to help them transition back into society stabilized, and with an understanding of Christ’s love for them. This is exemplified the most when we can be the hands and feet of Christ as our volunteers have this holiday season by preparing a Thanksgiving meal that they’ll never forget! As we move into the new year, we would like to ask that you continue to pray for all the ministries within the Christian Care Center, and that God would continue to move hearts to serve and meet the needs we have here. Have a wonderful holiday season, and if you have any interest in partnering with us at the Samaritan Inn, please reach out to our Samaritan Inn Director, John Draxinger. There are many opportunities to serve!
