Pictures tell stories that bring thankfulness and gratitude to our hearts... these pictures here help tell two different stories about the lives of families at Samaritan Inn.
First, there are storms that come in the lives of our families. These storms sometimes leave our families' hearts and lives with brokenness and destruction: areas that we will look to the Lord to clean up and restore. It takes time to do this hard and holy work as God brings His very presence and His word to remove the debris and rebuild the areas that have been damaged and destroyed. Storms come, but thankfully God is faithful to keep His promises.
Second, looking at the pictures, you can see some of our children helping with the work of clearing branches and debris from the area after a recent hurricane. The Samaritan Inn program not only teaches our parents Biblical life skills for following the Lord in His paths of hope, but also teaches their children how to be followers of Jesus in serving and helping others in real and practical ways. We are so thankful and grateful this season that the Samaritan Inn did not suffer substantial damage, and that the children were able to give back to the place they live and love.
God's work in and through the Samaritan Inn is a work that takes a team to be the hands and feet of Jesus. If you would like to be part of our team or want to know more about who we are and what we do, please contact us: kathys@christiancarecenter.org or daryl@christiancarecenter.org
