Our ladies are truly blessed when they attend their Sunday morning Connect Group, also known as Sunday School. Mark leads the group and he and his wife, along with others in the class, are faithful to pray for the ladies and even celebrate their birthdays and holidays. It has become like a family joining together to learn the Bible, discuss application, and enjoy fellowship together.
Mindy and Bruce are a part of this class and recently decided to bless the ladies with dinner. They prepared a delicious chicken and rice casserole, green salad, and an apple-berry dessert. They even brought the vanilla ice cream to go with the dessert. Although they were unable to stay and enjoy the dinner with the ladies, Bruce said a wonderful prayer over the food before leaving.
Needless to say, the ladies truly felt special and even a little spoiled in having the delicious, home cooked meal. The ladies are truly learning the value and meaningfulness of being in community with others. Relationships are being cultivated and are beginning to flourish.
