So many contributed and sponsored our Women’s Care Center ladies for the 2024 Reflections Women’s Conference at Lake Yale and it was surely a blessing for all. If you helped make this possible, we thank you so very much! Everyone came back feeling renewed and refreshed, and it was almost as if each speaker had something especially for us.
Pam Tebow reminded us that we are women of influence and challenged us on how we could influence others. We all want to be bold with our testimony, sharing what God has done in our lives and knowing that we can finish well, despite our past circumstances. Kristin Nave and Merry Lee Worrell’s passion for the Bible ignited each of us to marinate in God’s word more. Going deeper doesn’t have to be complex – we can begin by spending more time with Him. We are committed to challenging ourselves, stretching ourselves, and getting out of our comfort zone. We learned new and exciting ways to study the Bible and truly know the attributes of God.
Each and every breakout session was wonderful, and it was a treat to hear from our very own Katelyn Norton. Katelyn shared her beautiful testimony of God’s redemption and ever amazing grace. Katelyn’s testimony gives hope to us all and encourages each of us to obedience and perseverance. We are learning to trust God and His timing (His timing is always better than ours). We also learned that God can open doors as He chooses and we are so thankful for that!
Of course, the worship and fellowship was second to none. Free time included the high ropes course and skeet shooting for some, while others enjoyed fishing, hiking, and relaxing time in a hammock. It was a wonderful mix of friends, both old and new. The whole weekend was filled with lots of laughs, some tears, healing, and sweet times of prayer – many special memories were made!
