It takes a village! We have all heard that phrase, but we actually saw firsthand how everyone rallied together to bless one of our past graduates. Recently, Jess returned to the Women’s Care Center temporarily, after fleeing a bad relationship and preparing for a small apartment. Jess didn’t have anything to begin this new chapter. We reached out to Linda Williams, simply asking if she knew anyone that might be getting rid of anything that Jess may be able to use in the new place.
Amazingly, Jess has been showered with kindness and truly blessed beyond measure. Word traveled fast and while some brought items directly to the Women’s Care Center, Sharon Faile, her husband, and mom gathered and not only picked up, but delivered several car and truckloads directly to Jess’ apartment. Not only did they deliver, Sharon also set up the furniture, even making the bed while Jess was at work.
This was an army of angels and it has been a beautiful sight to see so many join together to help this young lady start her new beginning. Thanks to each and every one that furnished this dream!
