Goodbyes Can be Difficult

Norman has been a friend of the Christian Care Center for many years. He has lived at our Samaritan Inn and served so faithfully as the Resident Manager there. He truly has made a difference on our campus by simply allowing the light of Christ to shine through him in so many ways as he has been an encouragement to both our residents as well as our staff. He and his son have recently moved, and we are going to miss them so much. This sweet post was written by John Draxinger, the Director of the Samaritan Inn, this past Saturday, and we wanted to share it with you!

Today I say farewell (for now) to one of the greatest men I have ever known!! Norman, you were my right hand man, my co-worker in Christ, and someone I’d call one of my best friends. I am so thankful for the season of life we had together serving at Samaritan Inn. I am praying the Lord continues to use you in a mighty way my brother. We are always here for you, and thank you for doing your job without one complaint ever; you’re a true representation of what it looks like to serve faithfully day after day. I love you my friend!!
