Recently, the ladies at the Women’s Care Center were introduced to gardening. Not only were they blessed with two horse trough planters, but also everything needed to start – everything from soil & Miracle Gro to pepper, tomato and cucumber plants. They even got some seeds (green beans & peas) to start from scratch!
It has been exciting to watch and experience the beauty of growing your own veggies. The ladies are reminded of their own growth as they have watched the roots take hold and the transformation take place. What a joy to watch something grow from seed to harvest and see the first tomato and pepper on the vine!
