We are in the middle of Baby Bottle Boomerang, our annual fundraiser which supports the Pregnancy & Family Care Center…and our Christian school on campus, First Academy, got involved in a big way! The students did a fundraiser and overall gave a total of $1,554.50! They had a competition among the classes and the class with the most donations won a pizza party. Congratulations to the following winning classes:
Elementary - 5th grade Ms. Suggs Class
Middle School - 7th Grade Coach Birdsall's PE class
High School - The Senior Class
We were so happy to have the Athletic Director, Don Birdsall, and some of the FA students (officers of Fellowship of Christian Athletes) come to present the donation to the Pregnancy & Family Care Center. It really does take a village, and we're so blessed to have these young people involved in our ministry. Coach Birdsall said the students are already planning ways to make it bigger and better next year. Thank you, First Academy, for your generosity and helping to support the moms, dads and families in our community!
