Farmers to Families Food Box Program

Through the USDA, our Benevolence Center was recently able to participate in the Farmers to Families Food Box Program. We were able to serve Central Baptist Church as well as New Covenant United Methodist, who had a whole semi-load of boxes. The individual boxes weighed approximately 30 pounds, and each had milk, cheese, boiled eggs, liquid eggs, five pounds of potatoes, three pounds of apples, lunch meat, tomatoes and five pounds of cooked chicken. We are so thankful to be able to continue to serve those in our community through the many partnerships we have!
