A few weeks ago, Pastor Cliff Lea of the First Baptist Church of Leesburg joined our Pregnancy & Family Care Center for the 2019 National Life Chain! We are so honored that he would come and serve with us in this way. He sent out a brief testimony of his experience that day, and we wanted to share it with you.
Pastor Cliff writes, “I had real joy as I joined several others for the annual National Life Chain. It's a silent time of prayer where we hold signs and take a stand for life on US-27 right in front of [the FBC Leesburg] Downtown Campus. It was really fun to see several members of the Men's and Women's Care Centers boldly proclaiming that God is the Author of life. I stood next to one gentleman named Malcolm. He shared with me how much he enjoyed hearing the affirming honks of people who drove by. I think the greatest moment I had was meeting a young lady named Alyssa whom I had been praying for. Alyssa was an abortion-minded client who came to the Pregnancy & Family Care Center a few weeks ago. During the past few weeks she has decided to keep her baby, and, through the encouragement of some workers, she came to know Christ this past week. In less than a month, God has changed an abortion-minded client to a new believer who is standing with us for the cause of life. To God be the glory.”
