In July of 2011, I walked through the doors of the Christian Care Center Men’s Residence, and life as I knew it would never be the same.

This year for Christmas our families at the Samaritan Inn were able to share in one of our best Christmases since I became the Director.

We wanted to share with you a picture of some donations from Follow the Need, a ministry led by Richard and Lila Vilain.

“I just thought we’re here to survive, to earn a living to get by from day to day – I didn’t know there was a bigger purpose until now.”

Recently, residents from the Women’s Care Center and the Samaritan Inn enjoyed a night of fun at the Christmas Parade in Downtown Leesburg.

“Do you have any perfume or a hairbrush?” was the question asked to Wanda Kohn by a homeless person who had not been able to bathe for days.

The Springs Subdivision of Yalaha, Florida, has partnered with our Benevolence for over 19 years!

First Academy Leesburg recently held a food drive for our Benevolence Center and collected over 2,500 can goods.

Sally came to us from a nearby county seeking baby clothes and diapers for her 1 and 3-year-old godchildren that she is now raising.
